Senior civil engineer, George Mollard has over 60 years of civil engineering and terrain mapping experience. He served as Materials and Surfacing Engineer with the Saskatchewan Department of Highways and Transportation with responsibility for both flexible pavement design and the field location and evaluation of sand and gravel deposits for use as aggregate in highways construction.
George has been responsible for more than 100 site and route studies for highways, industrial access roads, winter roads, pipelines, railroads and power transmission lines. These studies have included terrain classification and mapping for site and route selection and evaluation, selection and evaluation of alternative routes, identification of aggregate and borrow for route construction, and related field investigations. In particular George specializes in sand and gravel aggregate location and assessment studies, both in support of route and site location studies and as aggregate sources for municipal and provincial agencies and private industry. George is also an expert in the preparation of claims on disputed highway contracts
